Description:

At Pure Shooter Camp Part 1, players will focus on the fundamentals of shooting the basketball through drills and game like situations. Part 1 will emphasize the importance of form, technique, and accuracy. Players will go through various drills and exercises designed to improve their shooting mechanics, release, and shot selection. Players will also learn drills that can be done anywhere (including at home without a basket) to help develop and perfect proper shooting technique.

Training Focuses: 

·        Shooting Fundamentals: Players will learn the correct shooting form, stance, hand/foot placement, and release to become a high percentage shooter. 

·        Player Development:  Each athlete will learn how to create good practice habits, what a good shooting form looks like, and how to increase outside shooting range through proper mechanics.

·        In-Game Shots: These skills will be taught through stationery drills and throughout the week the drills will evolve to include more game like situations.

·        Competition: The last couple days off camp, players will be competing in various shooting contest such as knockout and hot shot for prizes.
