2025 Summer Grind Series: Speed, Strength & Agility Camp Part 2 Location: LHBA South- 639 Gravois Bluffs Blvd H. Fenton, MO 63026 Drop off: 9am Pick up: 3pm Ages: 4th – 8th Description: As athletes develop physically it is important for athletes to learn how to move functionally and improve strength to prevent injury. Speed, Strength & Agility Camp will help athletes develop techniques that will benefit in competition and training. Strength and agility training can develop your athletes from good to great. We will review SAQ Part 1 as all the movements and functions of those exercises will be utilized in part 2 as well. Yes, players will be working hard and improving their physical performance, but they will also learn how to incorporate speed, strength and agility drills into their sports specific training so they can do these drills with proper technique and do them correctly on their own at home. This camp is designed for players who are ready to put in the work to achieve their goals by developing physically to meet the demands of the game. Training Focuses: ? Performance Fundamentals: Players are encouraged to push their limits, build their endurance, and develop the mental toughness required to excel in basketball and other sports. We will encourage players to set and work toward their goals both on and off the court or field. Athletes will be informed on how to properly move and function throughout new workouts and training. It is important athletes pay attention to the details in mobility to prevent injury in the weight room. Athletes will be introduced or review the exercises in Part 1 and build or add more exercises in Part 2. Conditioning and Fitness: Physical fitness is key for success in basketball and other sports. Our camp includes conditioning drills and exercises to help players build strength, agility, and speed. Building up a players core strength is critical for injury prevention as well. Individual Feedback: With small coach-to-player ratios, each player receives personalized feedback and coaching to address their specific strengths and areas for improvement. Athletes are encouraged to take this information and build on their own at home, school or practice. Being coachable is a characteristic all athletes must learn. Competition: Athletes will compete in different NBA Combine like drills to review and test what has been learned throughout the week. Prizes and awards will be given out for select competitions.
